Today, I am delighted to be formally launching my campaign to be the next Borough Councillor for St John’s by setting out my Plan for St John’s. 

At its heart, local politics is about people, and the people of St John’s deserve a councillor who understands the challenges they face in 2023 and knows how to address them.  

While some may see my youth as a drawback, I know that we need at least one young person representing the people of St John’s, a ward with numerous primary and secondary schools. As someone who less than a year ago was still at one of those schools, I am well placed to understand the issues of the day. 

I’m determined to run a positive campaign, built on a message of change for the people of St John’s. The first step of this campaign is engaging with local residents on my plan for a stronger, safer and more successful St John’s. I am full of optimism for the future of our ward, and I believe by working with local residents, we can build a ward that we can proudly hand to the next generation.
